About us
RMC Medical is an online project of Medical education and training.
It is run in association with RMC Alumni UK(www.rmcalumni.co.uk). RMC Alumni UK is a non profit, non political association of Alumni of Rawalpindi Medical College in UK & Ireland, with membership from all over the world. RMC Alumni UK was founded in 2002 and since then it has done many humanitarian and relief works also. You can read all details by visiting the main website www.rmcalumni.co.uk
RMC Medical (www.rmcmedical.co.uk) run by members of RMC Alumni UK for benefit of medical students and junior doctors. It also aims to provide continuing medical education and training for working medical professionals.
RMC Medical Journal is a free online medical journal, membership is free and open to all those who are associated with medical profession. Journal will have monthly editions, and it will accept articles for publication from members who have formally registered with us. Articles will be accepted on any subject related to health sciences. Editorial Board of Medical Journal, which comprises of senior medical doctors, will review individual articles before publishing (peer review). In addition, registered users can also submit other teaching aids and material, case studies, audits, presentations, photographic material to aid medical education and any other item which may be of interest to medical professionals. RMC Medical Courses is another project of “RMC Medical” web site. It is currently under development and will be online very soon. This is a fully automated advanced web site based on a state of the art teaching and training software. Individual courses will be taught by experienced working doctors, who have had their training and education in UK and other parts of the world. Courses will cover topics for medical students, who are in their final years of training. Also, courses are being developed for major postgraduate examinations like MRCP Part 1 and 2, PACES exam and other exams in different specialties.
